報告題目:Complex dynamics of a Leslie-Gower predator-preymodel with Crowley-Martin functional response
報告摘要:In this talk, by employing qualitative and quantitative analysis, we provide a thorough investigation of a Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with the Crowley-Martin functional response. Qualitatively, we rigorously analyze the existence of positive equilibria (at most three) and their local stability. We also discuss Hopf bifurcation and the existence of periodic solutions. Then, based on the qualitative results obtained, we conduct quantitative analysis by changing the value of one parameter continuously with the values of the other parameters being fixed in six sets. In one set, it is found that there are eleven different types of dynamical properties. The findings show that the model can have two coexisting periodic solutions and experience a series of bifurcation phenomena including the saddle-node bifurcation of equilibria,supercritical and subcritical Hopf bifurcations, homoclinic bifurcation, and the saddle-node bifurcation of nonconstant periodic solutions.

報告人簡介：陳玉明，分別于1991年和1994年從北京大學獲應用數學學士學位和碩士學位，并于2000年從加拿大約克大學獲理學博士學位，2000年9月至2001年6月在加拿大阿爾伯塔大學做博士后。從2001年7月起，一直任教于加拿大羅瑞爾大學。現為該校數學系教授、博士生導師。主要研究興趣為動力系統和泛函微分方程理論及其在生物數學和神經網絡中的應用。已在包括SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis,Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Nonlinearity, Journal of Differential Equations, PhysicaD-Nonlinear Phenomena,Mathematical Biosciences, Neural Networks等國際著名刊物發表論文一百三十余篇，其成果被同行廣泛引用，曾獲安大略省科技與創新部早期研究者獎。主持了5項加拿大國家自然科學與工程理事會(NSERC)科研基金項目。陳教授與中國學者有廣泛交流與合作。
